Altering books can be a great adventure. There are no rules, no rights and wrongs. There are infinite ways to use all your favorite art supplies and skills to alter an old book. I hope you visit often. Please feel free to use any ideas and tricks you pick up here. I do this for fun, not for profit! One of my best tricks is - if you mess up a page, tear it out! Start a new page. That's "my way".
I recently added the mail art component here. What could be easier or more fun than making a post card and sending it off to a friend? Or to a stranger?
30 paintings in 30 days - starting again in January
Here is the link to Leslie Saeta's 30 day challenge. I'm signing up again. I must be a glutton for taking on another challenge in January. This is one of the paintings I did during the last challenge.
I am cheering for you! I loved your paintings for the last 30-day challenge. I am contemplating a similar idea - warping a loom and/or weaving something everything. I think I probably have 30 looms around here if I dig into the dark recesses. But... finishing is always a bugaboo for me. Perhaps finishing something every day for a year should be my challenge. I am sure I have 365 unfinished projects piled up here. Diane
