Cloth Paper Studio, a Yahoo group posted a challenge to make three house shaped bookmarks for a 3 for 3 swap. Here are the fronts of the ones I did. Ihaven't punched holes or added fibers yet, but you get the idea. These are made from fabric glued to watercolor paper. I used colored pencils and gel medium to color the originally black and white photo after I printed it onto cotton. The final touch was to stam the letters for home on their chests.
The backs were done with paper collage, some window and door stamps I carved this morning, and other commercial rubber stamps.
