Background starters for abstract faces

 

Collage is first step on for these faces on watercolor paper. Cheap paper but sturdy enough. I had already sketched faces in the Canson XL pad, 9 x 12.  ( got a good deal on Amazon. 30 sheets for under 6 dollars.)   Most of the background papers are tissue so thet glue on quickly and securely.   That lime green was from a post it note pad on my work table.  I like the pop of color.  We will see how they look once I paint over this.
